ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Makenzie — the heart behind Mak Haus Boutique.

I’m 27, born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and currently living in Tallahassee, Florida for my husband’s job. Alongside us are our two fur babies, Bronx and Bexley, who keep life fun and a little chaotic.

I’ve been working in the fashion and retail world for the past seven years, and I fell in love with it almost immediately — every part of it. From store merchandising and buying inventory to web design and helping customers find their perfect fit, I truly love doing it all. What started as a passion quickly became something I couldn’t imagine not pursuing.

Opening Mak Haus Boutique is the result of finally branching out on my own and turning years of experience into something personal. My favorite part of this journey is helping women feel confident, comfortable, and like the best version of themselves in what they’re wearing — because style should feel effortless, not intimidating.

Growing up, my mom always told me that shopping wasn’t a real job option… little did she know.
